Bad Blood: Joe Laws- Justice Addy in six-round shoot-out of KO kids on Newcastle show

It’s not November 5 yet but expect fireworks at the Utilita Arena.

Joe Laws, fresh from an exciting win down the road at the Newcastle Eagles Community Arena, has been handed an international confrontation with a KO expert on Saturday, October 19.

Laws has been matched with Justice Addy over six rounds on the Bad Blood show, headlined by Lewis Ritson v Robbie Davies.

Unbeaten Laws recorded his seventh consecutive success and fifth inside the distance a couple of Saturdays ago by stopping Danny Little on the MTK event.

While Little’s fight log does not show many Ws, that is not the case with his opponent here.

Justice has 16 wins on his record, with only two of those requiring a points decision.

A former champion of Ghana, the puncher, from Accra, has only been beaten five times in 22 paid appearances.

Laws is part of a strong Geordie  supporting cast to Forest Hall hero Ritson’s WBA light-welterweight world title eliminator.

On the subject of the letters WBA, the Benwell Bomber’s team-mate at the Wallsend Boxing Academy, Lawrence Osueke has a British light-heavyweight title eliminator with Midlander Ricky Summers.

Like Laws, Walker’s Terence Wilkinson clocked up his seventh victory at the recent MTK event.

While there was no stoppage, it was exciting stuff as he got the better of Nicaragua’s Danny Mendoza who pushed him to the last bell with Wilka awarded a 39-37 victory by referee Darren Maxwell.
