Peter Fury says Savannah Marshall is world class now and wants to keep her “busy” all the way through 2018.
Marshall made a successful ring return at Bolton two Saturdays ago and will make her third professional appearance in London this month.
The 27-year-old will box at the York Hall in London on Friday, June 15, live on satellite channel Dave.
No opponent has been announced yet by promoters, Hayemaker Ringstar, but the trainer of the unbeaten Hartlepool fighter is confident title fights will not be too far away.
“Not long,” declared Fury. “She’s at a world level now, she carries tremendous power.
“She has lovely combinations and she’s so powerful, she’s just going to get better and better.
“She’s 2 and 0 now and we’re looking to keep her busy, for the rest of the year really and then we’ll look for world titles.
“It could even come by the end of this year, but if not definitely next year.”
Marshall is going into her capital date in good form having made a seamless return at the Macron Stadium.
The 2012 World champion showed no signs of rust as she hammered Ester Konecna inside four one-sided minutes.
Marshall stopped the 30-year-old at one-minute, 43 seconds of the second of eight scheduled rounds, with referee Phil Edwards intervening after the Czech girl had come under heavy fire.
The former Headland ABC star appears destined for a world title showdown with Claressa Shields.
Double Olympic champion Shields has a world championship clash with Hanna Gabriels in Detroit on June 22.
While the American, the IBF and WBC belt holder, is going through several challengers, Marshall is building her experience as a pro and getting some rounds in, given she went from August to May without a contest.
Marshall entertained the nation against Konecna with the international bout screened by Channel 5 as part of the undercard to Hughie Fury’s British heavyweight title win against Sam Sexton.
Fans can watch her for free again in London with Dave showing the action live.
And there is another heavyweight championship clash at the top of the bill at the famous Bethnal Green venue.
Highly-decorated amateur-turned-pro Joe Joyce, a Team GB colleague of Savannah, will make the maiden defence of his Commonwealth title defence in the Eastend.
There is an intriguing Commonwealth female title on the show with veteran Sam SJ Smith fighting in-form African Anisha Basheel for the vacant Commonwealth lightweight title.
Promoter David Haye’s support for the women’s game is further evidenced by a third female contest with Ruqsana Begum taking on Ivanka Ivanova in a re-match after the rivals drew at the same venue in March.
